PURPOSE and SCOPE:
Reporting to MacDon’s Manager of Parts Sales and Marketing, this position is responsible for managing a defined territory of agricultural dealers with the goal of significantly increasing parts sales and market share. This role is an outside sales position based in Winnipeg covering dealers in Manitoba, Ontario, and Eastern Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Reporting to the Warranty Services Manager, the Warranty Administrator is responsible for assisting the Warranty Services Manager to oversee the warranty area and ensure that customer warranty concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are the main job responsibilities and priorities for this position:

  • Review all warranty claims received via MacDon’s online warranty system to ensure that all are properly documented and verifying that all criteria required by MacDon Warranty has been provided.
  • Enter any paper warranty claims received into MacDon’s warranty system ensuring that all are properly documented and verifying that all criteria required by MacDon Warranty has been provided.
  • When additional information is required the Warranty Administrator must be able to clearly and professionally communicate with the submitter of the claim to obtain the required information.
  • Based on MacDon’s Warranty Policies provide approval recommendation and forward the claim to the Warranty Services Manager for review.
  • Generate the Authorization for Credit, the Claims Detail and Sales Order Page reports daily or as requested by the Warranty Services Manager; contact dealers (MDA, MDZ, Westward, etc.) regarding credits, once generated.
  • Generation and management of warranty Return Materials Authorizations (RMA’s) as requested by following the documented RMA process including; supplier recovery once a part returns from the dealer.
  • Maintaining Product Update files within MacDon’s warranty system. By creating the program within MacDon’s warranty system and inputting updates in real time.
  • Mailings/Communications for Safety Product Modification (SPM) to both end users and selling dealers.
  • General office duties include answering of incoming phone calls to provide assistance to the caller or route the caller to appropriate person or department. Opens and sorts incoming mail, orders office supplies and maintains both online and paper files. This list is not all inclusive and is only a basic outline of some of the office duties required.Publishes the minutes of the weekly, monthly, yearly Product Support meetings and others as requested.
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate dealer and equipment database including dealer labour rates, warranty start and end dates and any other items that may come to your attention. Reporting any error to the appropriate resource to have the database corrected.
  • Generate warranty reports using MacDon’s reporting tool, Cognos, as well as creating new reporting as required.
  • Develop labour for new dealers’ packages; labelled as “Travel and Labour”
  • Generate cheque requisitions when requested.

PURPOSE and SCOPE:

Participate as part of a team in the development and continuous improvement of innovative, class leading agricultural product designs for the Ag/Heavy Duty Off-Road machinery market.  Team compositions vary and change from time to time, but will involve multiple engineers and technologists, team leaders, prototype shop and test personnel, supply/marketing/product support/publications/manufacturing and other specialists.  Role will scope will focus on electrical power system studies and test to support the development of product drive and control systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Product Engineering Managers and engineering teams to assess customer product needs, and to plan, design, build and test electrical drive systems that meet these needs.
  • Support electrical system HV and LV wire harness modeling and analysis.

PURPOSE &SCOPE

The Test Technician role is a vital part of an international team of innovators that collaborate to solve critical problems related to the agricultural industry through the development of machinery. These individuals are provided a unique experience in which their problem-solving abilities are tested while they develop their hands-on experience working with prototype machinery. The Test Technician will use their unique perspectives to be an integral part of the research and development of agricultural prototypes through field and lab tests over an 8 month term.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with a variety levels of leadership in the Test Department to manage the day to day for field testing activities of prototype machines.

PURPOSE & SCOPE

The Test Technician role is a vital part of an international team of innovators that collaborate to solve critical problems related to the agricultural industry through the development of machinery. These individuals are provided a unique experience in which their problem solving abilities are tested while they develop their hands-on experience working with prototype machinery. The Test Technician will use their unique perspectives to be an integral part of the research and development of agricultural prototypes through field and lab tests over a 4-8 month term.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with a variety levels of leadership in the Test Department to manage the day to day for field testing activities of prototype machines
  • Liaise with leadership in performing and completing the verification and validation requirements of their prototype machines

Reporting to the Product Support Supervisor, the Product Support Representative provides after sales support for all MacDon Products. They work in territory with our dealers and customers to investigate product issues, address customer concerns, and provide product training. As part of the larger MacDon team they coordinate closely with the factory, providing information helping drive design changes and better understanding of customer needs.
