Parts Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

Reporting to the Parts Marketing Supervisor, the Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, development, execution, and measurement of marketing initiatives for MacDon Performance Parts and Westward Parts. This hands-on role creates engaging digital and print content, coordinates dealer and customer communications, and supports sales programs, promotional campaigns, product launches, online channels, and events. The successful candidate combines strong project coordination with practical content-creation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of annual marketing plans and calendars aligned with seasonal priorities, sales objectives, and the needs of MacDon Performance Parts and Westward Parts.
  • Draft, schedule, and distribute dealer email communications, including newsletters, seasonal campaigns, sales programs, product announcements, and other program updates.
  • Own social media coordination, including content planning, copywriting, scheduling, publishing, and reporting across relevant platforms.
  • Coordinate paid digital advertising campaigns, including ad optimizing, performance tracking and reporting.
  • Create and coordinate visual content, including product images, graphics, carousels, videos, product demonstrations, tutorials and testimonials.
  • Develop digital and print marketing materials including dealer bulletins, promotional pieces, advertisements, catalogues, presentations, signage, and sales-support materials.
  • Maintain website and dealer portal content, ensuring product, promotion, catalogue, and campaign information is accurate and current.
  • Coordinate webinars, trade shows, dealer events and other parts marketing activities, including event materials and on-site support as required.
  • Coordinate marketing merchandise and apparel and support catalogue production and updates.
  • Collaborate with Parts Territory Managers, Regional Parts Managers, Whole Goods Sales and Marketing, Purchasing, international divisions, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent execution.
  • Maintain organized project files, campaign documentation, content libraries, and brand assets; continually identify opportunities to improve marketing processes.
  • Provide reception coverage and greet visitors as required.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

Education

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, creative communications, digital media, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of relevant marketing, communications, digital content, or campaign coordination experience; experience in agriculture, manufacturing, parts, distribution, or dealer-channel marketing is an asset.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and editing social media content; experience in creating vertical short-form video such as Reels and Shorts is an asset.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience with content management systems, email marketing or CRM platforms; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, approvals, and stakeholders with close attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work in office, warehouse, event, and field environments as required
