New D60 Draper Delivers Up to 40% More Capacity.
Created by the company responsible for perfecting modern day draper header technology, MacDon’s new D60 Draper Header represents a significant leap forward in productivity for producers. When compared to MacDon’s industry leading 972 Harvest Header®, this next generation draper header will deliver up to 40% more capacity – a truly remarkable achievement that makes the header ideal for today’s largest combines and MacDon’s next generation high-speed M Series SP Windrower Tractors.
Available in widths up to 45' (13.7 m), much of this increased capacity is thanks to a trio of improvements that combine to make this MacDon’s most productive rigid draper to date. First the D60 features a new hydraulic knife drive that is able to deliver maximum power transfer to MacDon’s patented wobble box for increased ground speed in most conditions. Second, the draper system has been redesigned with larger capacity motors, V-guide reversible drapers and sealed roller bearings. The result is increased power and reduced maintenance. Finally the D60 features MacDon’s exclusive PR15 pick-up reel which has been designed from the ground-up to provide exceptional lift, sweep and crop release. This helps ensure smooth, even crop-flow even under the toughest crop conditions.
The D60 is available for both combine and SP windrower application (mounted on MacDon’s new M Series SP Windrowers), and comes in 15' (4.6 m), 20' (6.1 m), 25' (7.6 m), 30' (9.1 m), 35' (10.7 m), 40' (12.2 m) and 45' (13.7 m) widths. The 15' (4.6 m) width is not available for combine application. The 45' (13.7 m) width is not available for SP application.
