PURPOSE & SCOPE
A Harvest Support Representative is responsible for addressing customer concerns through investigation and troubleshooting.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the main job responsibilities and priorities that this position must focus on, must achieve and must excel at:
Address Customer concerns through diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair.
Work with the Custom Harvest Coordinator, Product Support Supervisors and Product Support Specialists and Dealer Personnel to address technical issues.
Generate clear, concise and complete Service Call Reports of daily field activity.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure service equipment is maintained and set for optimum field use.
Keeping valuable tools, equipment and vehicles in good, representable order.
Related University or College degree, or internship.
Familiar in the operation of farm machinery.
Farm background an asset.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of agricultural equipment and harvesting practices.
Strong Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills; oral and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Products including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills. Good planning and administration abilities.
Ability to work in a team or independently as required.
Available to travel over extended periods of time (90% of the time). Able to travel through Canada and United States. Valid passport required.
Must hold and maintain valid driver’s license and be able to cross Canadian US border.
