“We cut about 800 acres of hay a year on our own farm, and another 2,000 custom. With MacDon’s Double Windrow Attachment on our 18 foot 922 Auger Header we now put 36 feet of hay into a single windrow. That saves us the time and expense of raking. It used to cost us $8 an acre for raking, so on our own farm alone last year we saved $6,400 in raking costs – more than paying for the cost of the attachment. As to the performance of the unit, we had no trouble at all. We also like the fact that by not raking we get less stones and debris in our hay.”
