“All my MacDon tractors have been excellent, but my new MacDon Windrower is a true workhorse. It’s built heavier, has bigger tires and hubs and sure has a lot more power. That’s really important on the hills, as climbing is a lot easier. I also like that, just like the other MacDons we’ve had, it's been designed by someone who’s thinking about the guy in the field. Everything is easy to get to and simple to work on. You don’t need special tools. The same goes for our MacDon 922 Auger and 972 Harvest Header – both are well built machines. As a custom cutter you’ve got to have something that can take a beating. We put 40,000 acres on our first MacDon Auger that we bought back in ’97. I don’t think that other augers I’ve used would have even come close to that. For us, MacDon means reliability and longevity.”
