MacDon dramatically raises the bar once again in auger windrowing with its completely redesigned A Series self-propelled Windrower Auger Headers. So extensively have these augers been reengineered that literally every contact point with the crop has been tweaked or modified with the goal of delivering optimum performance under a wide range of conditions. The result? How about up to 25% more capacity than previous MacDon benchmarks? Beyond more capacity, A Series Auger Headers also feature MacDon’s advanced, fully-hydraulic design with on-the-go hydraulic reversing capability of reel, sickle, auger and conditioner on the A40-D and A40-D Grass Seed models. This allows the operator to be in full control of all harvesting adjustments from the comfort of the operator’s seat – a real time saver when moving from field to field or adjusting to changing crop conditions.

Auger sizes available: 14' (4.3 m), 16' (4.9 m) and 18' (5.5 m)
