Receive general instructions as to normal setting of welding machine and welding procedures from the Foreman and/or Supervisor
Performing MIG Welding on a wide variety of metals and their various thicknesses, requiring all position welding, and welding on work involving critical safety and load requirements
Work from specifications, drawing prints and welding symbols, shop work orders and/or verbal instructions
Ability to plan, layout, and perform diversified work
Use prints to obtain weld sizes and placement if specified or required
Maintain a clean work area using 5S methodology
Clear communication (understanding written and verbal cues)
Organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
2-3 years of MIG Welding experience and/or the completion of a recognized welding course
Must be able to pass a welding pre-screen and test
Shift work required (days, evenings, mid nights)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
