Purpose

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Digital Content Coordinator supports marketing activities and is responsible for maintaining up-to-date content and a consistent brand for all customer and dealer facing web and social media sites. In this role, you should be detailed-oriented and an excellent communicator, balancing a creative eye with an analytical mind. An integral part of the Marketing Communications team, you will help create digital marketing communication strategies and execute those initiatives across all digital mediums. You will be responsible for measuring and reporting on the results of all digital marketing efforts.

 

Responsibilities

• Help create and organize all digital marketing assets for MacDon’s web and social media, maintain an up-to-date and consistent brand for all customer and dealer facing sites

• Maintain multi-lingual regional websites with approved translations

• Work with internal departments and external vendors as required on technical aspects of website development, maintenance, testing, and quality assurance

• Work with other departments to streamline and standardize digital content

• Create, maintain, and track contest sites, registration sites, online demos, online surveys, and email marketing using the CMS of our .com and third-party tools

• Develop strategies to increase conversions on all digital platforms, find ways to close the sales loop and connect prospects with MacDon Dealers

• Monitor, analyze, track, and report on website, campaign, and social media activities

• Run SEO & technical site audits, optimize and create fixes based on findings

• Maintain and increase email database, work with marketing to create communication strategies to best utilize this data and enhance the MacDon customer experience

• Stay up-to-date with online marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies related to social media and digital marketing

 

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field of study

• Minimum of a three 3 years experience in a similar role

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and is focused on continuous improvement to measure and evaluate marketing performance

• Thorough understanding of social media platforms, including advertising, and how they support other digital marketing efforts

• Strong technical background and understanding of web based coding

• Proven experience managing automated email marketing campaigns

• Exceptionally organized with excellent communication and time management skills

• Ability to work with Mac and Widows operating systems

• Working knowledge of applicable Adobe and Microsoft programs

• Strong writing ability is an asset

• Agricultural understanding or background is an asset
