Test Engineer/Technologist (#TETech95)

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited University engineering program or technical college.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Farm background is an asset.
 

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of test plans, ensuring the appropriate detail, timing, and ownership is captured. 
• Participates in the management of the mule and prototype builds.
• Leads the development of the instrumentation plan and the physical instrumentation of the mules and prototypes in the lab and field.
• Leads and/or participates in the lab and field testing of mules and prototypes, and owns the capture of instrumented data.
• Participates in and/or owns the analysis of data, and presentation of results and recommendations.
• Correlate lab testing, field data and theoretical results.
• Design lab test fixtures using Cad software.
• Complete ownership of all the above duties and responsibilities may be given to the Test Engineer in some cases.
• Participates in product development activities (design reviews, project development, FMEA’s, etc) as needed.
• Communicates daily to the Field Test Supervisor and direct to other cross functional team members as needed.
