Qualifications
• Related University or College degree, or internship.
• Farm background and understanding of agricultural equipment an asset.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on mobile equipment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Products including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good planning and administration abilities.
• Ability to work in both team and individual situations.
• Ability to travel. Valid passport required.
• Must hold and maintain valid driver’s license and be able to cross Canadian US border.
Responsibilities
• Address customer concerns through investigation and troubleshooting.
• Provide possible solutions to issues.
• Work with the Product Support Department Supervisors, Product Support Specialist, Territory Sales Reps and Dealer Personnel in addressing Product Technical Issues.
• Generate daily reports of field activity and email these reports to the department.
• Perform field demonstrations of new products.
• Recommend design or process improvements.
• Develop and deliver technical training information to dealers and customers.
• Ensure service equipment is maintained and set for optimum field use. Take responsibility of valuable tools and equipment.
• Travel is required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
