Qualifications
- New graduates with experience working with Agricultural equipment or manufacturing.
- Mechanical or Agricultural Engineer/ Mechanical Engineering Technologist
- Experience with design tools such as CAD (Solid Edge), FEA (Ansys), Electronic Systems Design software, etc.
- Fluent in MS Office tools.
- Experience in multi-functional design teams is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Participate as part of a cross functional team in the development, testing, and manufacturing launch of new product developments.
- Participation in these cross functional teams will begin at proof of concept stage and be complete once we have reached steady state manufacturing.
- Own the research, design, and test of product or product subsystem development, utilizing our computer application design and analysis tools.
- Develop drawings from 3D models that comply with company standards.
- Develop bills of material for product designs.
- Work with supply to source materials from capable vendors for the purpose of engineering prototypes.
- Assist with the assembly of product information for technical writers to create manuals.
- Work as a resource for manufacturing once the product ownership has been handed to manufacturing.
